I love Sundays. A day set aside to worship, delve into the Word, rest our bodies and our minds.
But I have not always been good about the latter. My busy lifestyle has consumed far too many Sundays.
Yet, our King and Master told us to rest on this day. He let us know this day was set aside just for us. I do not want to abuse the resources God has made available to me, and this day of rest is likely one of the most important resources He provided.
So enjoy this day the Lord has made especially for you!
I made that choice to rest. It goes against every fiber of my work-driven being. But I choose obedience to the King. Spending time in the presence of the King. Refreshing!
